Our Bridge Program is an advanced pathway designed for exceptional Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) committed to furthering their careers in the medical field. This program caters specifically to those with a minimum of three years of exemplary service, showcasing outstanding work records, communication skills, and documentation efforts.

Program Overview: Our curriculum spans 8 to 10 weeks, featuring intensive skills coaching sessions alongside a comprehensive refresher in medical terminology and fundamental theoretical knowledge. The exact duration is tailored based on an initial evaluation of each candidate’s competencies and professional experience.

Curriculum Highlights – Bessemer Location: Participants will gain hands-on experience in:

• Clinical skills, including patient examination preparation, triage, and phlebotomy.
• Performing injections, assisting physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Conducting routine lab procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Medication administration, ECGs, and pediatric assessments.
• Medical record management, telephone etiquette, and professional correspondence.

Certifications: Upon successful completion of the program, including all sessions, theoretical components, and fee settlements, graduates will be awarded a Medical Assistant Diploma and gain certifications in:

• AAH Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
• OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens
• HIPAA
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR
